What the status quo is costing you
Missed calls
The ones you never hear about
Nobody picks up after hours, during lunch, or when two people ring at once. Most of them do not try you a second time.
Repetition
The same six questions all day
Opening hours, price, availability, where are you, is it in stock, can I move my appointment. Trained staff spend their day on it.
Hold time
Callers give up before you reach them
Every minute on hold is a customer quietly deciding to try the next number on the list.
What a call actually sounds like
No menu tree and no press one for sales. The caller talks, the agent does the work while they are still on the line, and the booking is in your calendar before they hang up.
Caller
Hi, I was hoping to get in on Thursday afternoon if you have anything?
Agent
Let me have a look at Thursday for you now.
Google Calendar · checking availability
Agent
I have quarter past two, or half four. Would either of those suit?
Caller
Half four is better. And it will be two of us this time, not one.
Agent
Thursday at half four for two. Can I take a mobile number for the reminder?

Caller
Yes, it is oh three double one, four nine two...

Under a second, which is the whole trick
A caller does not consciously time the pause, they just feel whether they are talking to something alive. That feeling is a latency budget, and every architecture decision below is made to protect it.

Questions people ask
Will callers know it is not a person?
Many will, and it should say so if asked. The aim is not to fool anyone, it is to answer immediately and get the thing done. Callers forgive a machine that books the appointment in forty seconds far more readily than a person who never picks up.
What happens when it cannot help?
It hands over. Mid call to whoever is free, with the context passed across so the caller does not start again, or out of hours as a proper message on the right record. It is also built to escalate early when it hears frustration rather than grinding on.
What about accents and background noise?
This is the part that needs tuning rather than a switch. We train it on your product names, place names and the accents of your actual customers, then run it against recordings of your real calls before it takes a live one.
Which languages can it handle?
English, Urdu, Arabic, Spanish, French and most widely spoken languages, including switching mid call when a caller does. Quality varies by language and we will be straight with you about which ones are ready for your customers.
Does it work with our existing number?
Yes. The number you advertise stays the number you advertise. Calls can route to the agent first with a fallback to your team, or only overflow when nobody picks up within a set number of rings.
How is call data handled?
Recording and retention are configured to your jurisdiction, with disclosure at the start of the call where it is required. Transcripts sit on your own infrastructure if you want them to, and deletion on request is built in rather than promised.
